THE SYCAMORE GAP (2018)

In 1841, Clara lives with her husband in Blackwood House. Mina, a maid who works in the household, and Clara become involved in an affair which is found out by her husband. She gives Mina an ultimatum which forces her to face logic and emotion.

The Sycamore Gap was self-funded and co-produced by Sarah Talbot. It attended 24 film festivals, was nominated for 18 awards (including BFI Northern Filmmaker Award) and winner of 8 awards (including two regional RTS Awards). We are particularly proud of its appearance at BAFTA Qualifying Aesthetica Film Festival.
